exhibition & book coming soon
over the past two years i've been working on and off on a photo-documentary about the liberties area of dublin. recently some of the photos picked up interest from a publisherin the u.s. so hopefully i'll have a book published in about a years time and and exhibition to match!

another new website
2 october finally saw my new weddings and social photography website go live at www.karl.ie. hopefully this will help lead to bigger and better exposure!

donegal
lately the peninsula of inishowen in donegal has found a place in my heart and i'm gradually making my way around taking photos such as theshots to the left and others which are available to view in the non-urban section of this site. i happen to think the photos are pretty stunning anyway! hopefully you will too! if you're interested in buying framed prints, please get in touch for prices.

leonard cohen
i've just been informed by an online music magazine who published some of my photos from the leonard cohen concert at the royal hospital in kilmainham last june, that my photos are among their most hit pages!

sweden

hungary
some time in the not too distant future, our childrens generation will be baffled by 'film'. i still use it and love the qualities of film. the othe advantage of course, is shots taken on film can be scanned for reproduction far bigger than most digital cameras allow. i spent my time in budapest shooting on 120 film on my holga camera (known generically as lomography)
